Little did we know that there were some really cool things to explore just across the street from our campground in Astoria! When we were on the beach, we saw some cars on the beach so then we went back to the car and drove on the beach, I think Dad had a little too much fun with that. After my Dad’s nonsense driving, we went to see a shipwreck! Most of the ship was stuck in the sand but a chunk of it was above. We learned that this was the Peter Iredale ship that ran aground in 1906. On the way to the camper from the park, we saw some pretty cool and large deer!
